Job summary

Game 7 Staffing seeks a Systems Engineer for an onsite contract role in Maryland. You will support propulsion system development, lead requirements activities, and coordinate across engineering, management, and external stakeholders.

You will shape verification plans, manage risk, and drive V&V plans mapping requirements to tests, while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring traceability from needs to design and test.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Experience on programs involving requirements, design, integration, or test.
• Ability to write clear, testable requirements and maintain baselines.
• Experience establishing traceability from stakeholder needs to test.
• Experience leading SRR, PDR, CDR or equivalent design reviews.
• Experience running formal Risk Review Boards.
• Knowledge of MBSE or SysML and tools (Cameo/MagicDraw/Rhapsody).
• Experience with DOORS/Jama/JIRA or similar requirements tool.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and coordination between engineering disciplines, program management, and external stakeholders.
• Produce and maintain requirements specifications, ICDs, V&V matrices, risk registers, and verification technical reports.
• Define and maintain a requirements decomposition strategy across subsystems and disciplines.
• Perform requirements change impact analysis based on CCNs and design configurations.
• Lead requirements reviews and PDR/CDR-level artifacts for completeness, consistency, feasibility, and testability.
• Lead Risk and Opportunity meetings for technical and programmatic teams.
• Develop verification plans mapping each requirement to verification methods and responsible owners.
• Support creation of WBS and technical schedules based on systems engineering activities.
