Apollopros is seeking a Systems Engineer with MBSE and requirements management expertise to support advanced propulsion and aerospace programs. This contract role involves developing requirements, performing verification planning, and coordinating across multidisciplinary teams throughout the lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings a strong systems engineering background, attention to detail, and collaboration skills to work with IPT members and suppliers.

Competenze

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (systems/aerospace/mechanical).
  • 4+ years of professional systems engineering experience, preferably in aerospace/defense.
  • Experience with MBSE, requirements management, and DOORS or similar tools.

Drive the Development of Advanced Aerospace Systems

We are seeking talented Systems Engineers with experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), requirements management, and product development to support complex aerospace and propulsion system programs. This role offers the opportunity to work throughout the systems engineering lifecycle, helping define, analyze, verify, and manage requirements for highly sophisticated engineering products. The ideal candidate will have a strong systems engineering background, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams while managing technical tasks under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities
Requirements Development & Management (60%)
  • Develop and manage system, subsystem, and component requirements for advanced propulsion and aerospace products.
  • Perform requirements derivation, allocation, traceability, and documentation using requirements management databases and specifications.
  • Coordinate specification updates and requirements change management activities with Integrated Product Team (IPT) members.
  • Define and coordinate requirements verification strategies and compliance plans.
  • Manage assessment, verification, validation, and certification activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies to support system development and documentation.
Functional Analysis & System Architecture (15%)
  • Perform functional analysis to define system behavior and performance requirements.
  • Lead or support system trade studies to evaluate design alternatives.
  • Assist in selecting optimized technical solutions through cost-benefit and performance trade analyses.
  • Contribute to system architecture development and program objectives.
Risk & Opportunity Management (15%)

  • May provide technical direction to small teams of engineers or technicians, including workload planning and task scheduling.
Technical Communication & Collaboration (10%)
  • Present technical findings through written reports, presentations, and project reviews.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and coordinate project execution.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional systems engineering experience, preferably within aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience with: Requirements management Risk management Systems engineering processes Product development lifecycles Proficiency with IBM DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
  • Knowledge and practical application of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or other advanced technical degree.
  • Experience with liquid rocket propulsion systems or related aerospace technologies.
  • Previous experience supporting aerospace, defense, government, or complex engineering programs.
