Relativity Space, Inc. is seeking a Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer II to oversee the end-to-end manufacturing of Combustion Device hardware for Aeon-R and Vacuum Engine programs in Long Beach, CA.

You will develop initial production processes, drive ramp-up, and collaborate across machine shop, additive, and supply chain to ensure manufacturability and scalability. The role requires a BS in aerospace/mechanical/manufacturing engineering and 2+ years of hardware manufacturing experience, with

Qualifications

• Experience authoring work instructions and process procedures for complex assemblies.
• Experience interfacing with design engineering, manufacturing, and production personnel.
• Ability to drive projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding and advocating for Design for Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing for development and production of Combustion Device hardware for Aeon-R and Vacuum Engine programs.
• Develop processes to build hardware, implement into production, and drive ramp-up.
• Collaborate with machine shop, additive, supply chain, propulsion design to ensure manufacturability and scalability.
• Ensure on-time delivery to meet program targets and drive continuous improvement and new product development.
