Job summary

Ursa Major is seeking a Laboratory Technician, Development, to support analysis of solid rocket motor production materials in a Colorado lab environment. You will install and maintain experimental hardware, build data acquisition lines, and help establish procedures for new propulsion experiments.

Qualifications

• Experience in a chemistry, mechanical/materials testing, or R&D lab setting.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and safety protocols.
• Proficient with data acquisition and instrumentation documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and manage experimental hardware and instrumentation for lab-scale propulsion work.
• Assist in building hardware and data acquisition systems, including fiber optics for new experiments.
• Develop and follow experimental procedures and collect quality data.
• Present anomalies or issues that affect development and participate in results discussions.
• Maintain meticulous lab records and ensure data governance.
