Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Orange, VA is seeking an Engineering Technician B to support solid rocket motor propulsion and energetic development at our Culpeper-area site. The position involves mixing chemicals, operating test equipment, collecting data, and maintaining strict safety procedures.

You will join a cross-functional team of engineers and technicians to fabricate components and assemble advanced systems; the role includes quality analysis, routine testing, and potential security

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years manufacturing experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associates Degree with 0-2 years manufacturing experience.
• Valid Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tests, mix/cast chemicals and energetics, collect data, and operate equipment per standard procedures.
• Conduct laboratory procedures for chemical analysis with wet chemical techniques or analytical instruments.
• Apply results for quality control, process or product failure analysis, or engineering development insights.
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance.
