Job summary

L3Harris in Redmond, WA is seeking a Manufacturing Technician C for first shift. The role involves precision mechanical assembly and testing of rocket engine components in a laminar flow environment, reading drawings and following procedures.

Work includes coordinating with maintenance and engineers, troubleshooting, and data collection using ERP systems. Eligible candidates will have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 6 years of related experience, or an Associate's degree with 2+ years

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly and test of engines or other components/products as assigned.
• Handle precision clean parts within a laminar flow environment.
• Perform diversified, but semi-repetitive operations following standardized methods and procedures under changing conditions.
• Coordinate with maintenance, supervision and/or engineers in the set-up and calibration of equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies, company manufactured tooling and pressure testing.
• Use and operate various computer systems and applicable software (such as retrieving work instructions or manufacturing module in ERP system).
• Read and interpret product drawings, process specifications, and department procedures.
• Provide assistance in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process, collect data, or assist in research work.
• Repair or make recommendations to solve equipment issues.
