Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Associate, Manufacturing Engineer at the Orange, VA site, part of the Missile Solutions Segment. This role supports modernization and automation of production facilities and requires the ability to obtain a US security clearance.

The position is located in rural Orange County, near Culpeper, with a focus on energetic propulsion and high-complexity production programs. A Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ experience or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, or equivalent (6 years) without a degree.
• Experience with SPC monitoring, PFMEA, MBOMs, PHA and JSA.
• Strong problem solving and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support modernization and automation of production facilities and process improvements.
• Identify root causes and conduct PFMEA, PFMEA and PFMEA-based investigations.
• Develop and support process tooling and integration into manufacturing; ensure safety and quality conformance.
• Support energetic assembly and manufacturing operations.
• Travel up to 5% of time and ability to obtain a US security clearance.
