Job summary

Hermeus is seeking a Propulsion Engineering Intern to assist design, development and testing of propulsion components. You will collaborate with engineers, manufacturing, and vendors to move hardware from concept through testing.

Spring, Summer, and Fall sessions span approximately 16, 12, and 16 weeks respectively. The role emphasizes hands-on design, engine hardware, and rigorous testing, with an hourly wage of $25–$33.

Qualifications

• Practical experience designing, building, and testing vehicles through internships, studies or projects.
• Currently enrolled in a STEM program (undergrad year 3/4 or grad studies).
• Strong interest in propulsion systems and engineering fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; GPA 3.0+.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of propulsion components and systems from concept to testing.
• Create and release engineering drawings; collaborate with manufacturing and vendors.
• Assist in setting up propulsion test rigs and perform testing documentation.
