Job summary

Hermeus is seeking a Test Engineering Intern to develop, build, analyze and operate test assets for our supersonic aircraft. You will work across subsystems including hydraulic, fuel, valves and airframe, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing to ensure test readiness.

The internship offers hands-on design, testing and data analysis in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with spring and summer options and a pathway to contribute to groundbreaking flight hardware.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a STEM program at an accredited college or university.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Interest in testing and aviation.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, manufacturing, implementation and maintenance of test assets.
• Design test fixtures, tooling, adapters, interfaces and panels for test setups.
• Assist in developing test plans, procedures and protocols for vehicle subsystems and components.
• Perform engineering analysis to determine target test points and instrumentation requirements.
• Support test design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on test requirements.
• Create CAD models, drawings and manufacturing plans for test components and flight-like hardware.
• Work with manufacturing and build teams to track hardware progress and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with operation and troubleshooting of fluid, mechanical and electrical test systems.
