Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Propulsion Engineer for our Elkton, MD facility. You will perform analysis, design, and testing of propulsion systems including energetics and control components for launch and space missions.

The role requires a STEM degree and solid propulsion experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. Relocation assistance may be available and travel is up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with propulsion experience preferred.
• Solid propulsion experience in launch vehicle or missile systems.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, design, or test of propulsion systems and components.
• Coordinate strategy for multi-disciplinary design, optimization, and analysis processes.
• Define and coordinate testing required to evaluate design work.
