General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Dept 427) to perform design engineering for electrical systems in submarine propulsion plants. This role involves design upgrades, power electronics, and instrumentation control for VIRGINIA Class submarines currently under construction.

Responsibilities include collaboration with multiple disciplines, supplier interaction, and NAVSEA-directed tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Nuclear engineering.
• 1-5 years of post graduate engineeringexperience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance.
