Qualifications

Minimum of 12 years of US Navy submarine experience as a qualified nuclear plant operator with an electrical or electronics background.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Engineering Watch Supervisor qualified.

Responsibilities

Initial system and/or component design, ship alteration upgrades, and life cycle support. Project engineer oversight of all engineering tasks, ensuring technical quality, teamwork, schedules, budgets, and interface with Design and other orgs.
Evaluate and provide technical resolution to system and component questions from NAVSEA, Navy shipyards and prime contractors, communicating effectively within the organization and with NAVSEA.
Strong verbal communication within the team and with external partners.
