Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking Propulsion Assembly Technicians II/III to build sub-assemblies for the Rutherford rocket engine at our Long Beach headquarters. The role supports the Propulsion Production Manager and the production organization, delivering deliverables for internal leadership and investors.

This position can be filled at Technician II or Technician III level, with 2+ years (II) or 5+ years (III) of mechanical assembly in aerospace, plus experience with pressure testing,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in aviation, aerospace, or similar industry.
• Talented with mechanical assembly tools (i.e.: pressure testing equipment and welding preparation).
• Talented with electrical assembly tools (i.e.: bench testing and measuring instruments).
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Build turbo pumps and rocket engines.
• Work on a high calibre cross functional team.
• Watch the hardware you build make fire and go to space.
