Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Assembly Integration & Test Technician II/III on A Shift to assemble, integrate, and test spacecraft hardware following drawings and procedures. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and workmanship.

You'll work with electrical and mechanical harnesses, avionics components, heaters, RTDs, and other flight hardware; 2+ years (II) or 5+ for III; the position offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities to advance in aerospace production.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience, preferably in aerospace.
• Experience with ESD, FOD, Tool Control, 5S and calibration.
• Familiar with cleanroom environments and aerospace cleanliness requirements.
• Harness fabrication and installation experience.
• Experience installing avionics hardware using drawings and procedures.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on use of electrical and mechanical test tools and equipment.
• HS Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, and test spacecraft hardware per drawings and procedures.
• Install electrical/mechanical hardware including harnesses and avionics.
• Use test equipment safely to perform functional checks and tests.
• Support spacecraft functional, CPT, and environmental test campaigns.
• Assist with propulsion integration and lifting activities per procedures.
