Job summary

MYR Group is seeking a Proposal Specialist to partner with Marketing and Business Development, supporting districts in the U.S. and western Canada through high-quality pre-qualification submittals, proposals, and marketing collateral.

The role emphasizes writing, editing, and coordinating with subject-matter experts to meet deadlines. The position requires senior-level proposal experience, strong communication, and familiarity with Adobe InDesign; travel to or between offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field; combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of proposals (RFPs) and SOQs with marketing, business development and operations teams.
• Write, proofread, and edit proposal content including letters, overviews, resumes, project descriptions, graphics and charts.
• Lead kickoff calls, outline proposals, compile components, gather SME information, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Support submittals and handle printing/production as needed.
• Develop/update presentations, brochures, and other marketing materials.
• Archive and maintain internal databases accuracy.
• Perform other marketing and business development tasks as needed.
• Essential functions to be performed in an office or field location.
• Other duties as assigned.
