Job summary

MYR Group Inc. is seeking a Proposal Specialist to support the Marketing and Business Development teams across the U.S. and western Canada.

You will develop high‑quality pre-qualification submittals, proposals, and presentations, coordinating with operations and subject matter experts to meet deadlines. The role requires strong editing, writing, and communication skills, plus experience with Adobe InDesign and graphic layout.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferably in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of proposals (RFPs) and statements of qualifications (SOQs).
• Write, proofread, and edit proposal content including cover letters, company overviews, resumes, project descriptions, graphics, org charts.
• Lead team kickoff calls, develop outlines, compile components, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Support proposal submittals and handle printing/production when required.
• Develop and/or update presentations, brochures, and other marketing materials.
• Maintain internal databases and archive information for accuracy.
• Perform other marketing and business development tasks as needed.
