Job summary

MYR Group Inc. is seeking a Proposal Specialist to join our Marketing and Business Development team. You will support district offices nationwide and in western Canada by developing high‑quality pre-qualification submittals, proposals, and presentations, and by producing professional marketing collateral.

You will lead proposal content creation, coordinating with subject matter experts, editors, and print vendors, while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferably in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of proposals (RFPs) and statements of qualifications (SOQs) with marketing, business development, and operations.
• Write, proofread, and edit proposal content including letters, overviews, resumes, project descriptions, and graphics.
• Coordinate kickoff calls, outline proposals, gather technical info from SMEs, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Support proposal submissions and handle printing/production when needed.
• Develop/update presentations, brochures, and other marketing materials.
• Maintain internal databases and archive information for accuracy.
