Job summary

AET Federal Inc. in Tysons, VA is seeking a Proposal Coordinator/Writer to join a small, fast-paced team. This on-site role focuses on proposal development, coordination, and compliance for federal and commercial solicitations, including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.

The position demands strong writing, editing, and organizational skills, with responsibility for end-to-end draft work, materials maintenance, and collaboration with SMEs. On-site work Monday–Friday at the Tysons office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• U.S. Citizenship required; no sponsorship available.
• 3+ years in proposal writing or GovCon.
• Experience writing RFI, RFP, RFQ responses.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and proofreading.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and refine proposal content across sections.
• Tailor language to solicitation requirements and customer priorities.
• Maintain clarity, compliance, and professional tone.
• Draft RFI, RFP, and RFQ write-ups end-to-end.
• Incorporate feedback from leadership and SMEs.
• Track schedules, milestones, deliverables, and version control.
• Maintain compliance matrices and proposal templates.
• Communicate status and risks with leadership.
