Job summary

Matrix Project Services is seeking a Proposal Specialist to coordinate, develop, and produce proposals, presentations, and communications that consistently represent the Company. You will support RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs, and assist with CRM data entry and reporting.

The successful candidate will help Business Development and other departments by preparing presentations and communications for internal and external audiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years proposal development, marketing, or public relations experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Business Administration, or related area preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written required.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills and expertise required.
• Strong computer skills, including design software such as Adobe CC strongly preferred.
• Ability to synthesize data into practical information.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and internet research.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM (or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience with submitting client proposals via web-based sourcing platforms preferred.
• Proposal experience in engineering and construction industries preferred.
• Ability to operate under pressure and changing environments.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Actively support safety and Core Values.
• Represent the Company with high professional standards.
• Develop and support client/proposal requests and reports.
• Prepare and maintain proposal compliance matrix and deliverables.
• Create and edit multi-page documents using brand guidelines.
• Support proposal reviews and distribution of comments to authors.
• Edit content for grammar, logic, accuracy, and readability.
• Develop written communications for internal and external audiences.
• Prepare dynamic presentations for internal and external use.
• Ensure positive messaging in stakeholder communications.
• Support CRM data entry, data quality, and reporting.
• Some travel may be required.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required.
