Job summary

OCT Consulting LLC in McLean, VA is seeking a Mid-level Proposal Manager/Writer to lead proposal development and writing for Federal government opportunities. The role requires collaboration with BD, senior leadership, program managers, and SMEs to produce winning responses.

The position is hybrid with 2–4 days onsite per week, based at the McLean corporate office, and requires strong writing, editing, and graphics-creation skills to deliver compliant proposals on tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 4–6 years of government proposal writing experience preferred.
• Experience developing and writing responses to RFPs, RFQs, and other solicitations.
• Ability to manage multiple revisions and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage proposal efforts from cradle to grave.
• Develop compliant, compelling content for technical, management, staffing, and past performance sections.
• Collaborate with SMEs, capture managers, and leadership to produce high-quality proposals.
