Job summary

Schnabel is seeking a Proposal Manager to support the BD Services team with developing qualifications materials, proposals, SOQs, and client-ready presentations to win new opportunities. This role reports to the BD Services Manager and collaborates with business units, Creative Services, and Prequalifications to ensure brand consistency.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in proposal development, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint, Adobe InDesign, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, communications, or marketing.
• 6+ years of experience in proposal development, preferably in the AEC industry.
• Federal government proposal management experience, including SF 330, desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage timelines and multiple tasks.
• Willingness to travel and work extra hours to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint, InDesign/Creative Suite, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire proposal/SOQ lifecycle from go/no go to submission.
• Create schedules, matrices, and development workbooks; lead kickoff calls.
• Mentor junior proposal staff.
• Collaborate with prime/subcontractors and serve as primary client contact during proposals.
• Work with Creative Services templates and maintain brand alignment.
• Manage resource allocation to meet deadlines.
• Develop boilerplate materials, project lists, and resumes for submittals.
• Proofread proposals and related marketing documents.
• Support presentation development for shortlist interviews.
• Maintain BD information in Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Review and develop new procedures; assist with other BD tasks.
