Mathematica is seeking a Proposal Development Associate to advance high-quality technical proposals and coordinate timelines across cross-functional teams. You will ensure submission requirements are met and contribute to tools, processes, and best practices that improve efficiency and consistency.

The role partners with proposal directors and teams to manage schedules, kickoff meetings, and materials while aligning technical, financial, and administrative components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, public policy, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in proposal development, business development, project coordination, or related field.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint.
• Experience supporting proposals, RFPs, or other time-sensitive business development activities is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support the full proposal development lifecycle, planning, coordinating, developing, and submitting high-quality, compliant proposals within deadlines.
• Develop and maintain proposal schedules, compliance matrices, outlines, and other guiding tools.
• Coordinate kickoff meetings, strategy discussions, and key decisions; communicate next steps.
• Organize and maintain proposal files and assist authors with background materials and standard language.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including pricing, to align technical, financial, and administrative components.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants to obtain required information for proposals.
• Develop and compile project timelines, deliverables schedules, staffing information, and other materials.
• Coordinate quality assurance reviews and proposal production activities for final submission.
• Support business development activities related to priority clients and growth opportunities.
• Assist with proposal-related trainings and provide guidance on processes, tools, and best practices.
• Contribute to analyses of proposal and business development activities for continuous improvement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
