Job summary

Irby Construction Company, a Quanta Services subsidiary, seeks a Proposal Coordinator to organize, develop, and deliver competitive proposals across transmission, distribution, substations, BESS, and data center projects. You will reflect Irby’s infrastructure expertise, safety commitment, and operational excellence in submissions.

Collaborate with Estimating, Engineering, Operations, Safety, and Business Development to manage proposal requirements, writing, document control, and timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating construction or engineering proposals, including technical writing and complex bid submissions.
• Experience supporting utility, energy storage, or data center pursuits is strongly preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, and document control to present technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate proposal pursuits across divisions from solicitation to submission, establish work plans and milestones.
• Review RFPs, RFQs, and specifications to identify required responses and deadlines.
• Collaborate with estimators, project managers, engineers, and operations to gather inputs and schedules.
• Develop and edit proposal narratives and executive summaries for infrastructure projects.
• Lead kickoff meetings, track actions, and flag missing inputs before deadlines.
• Maintain proposal files, templates, and staff qualifications for reuse.
• Assemble and quality-check complete submission packages and attachments.
