Job summary

Irby Construction Company, a Quanta Services subsidiary, seeks a Proposal Coordinator to organize, develop, and deliver competitive proposals across transmission, distribution, substations, BESS, and data centers. You will convert customer requirements into compelling submissions reflecting Irby’s infrastructure expertise and safety commitment.

In this role, you’ll partner with Estimating, Engineering, Operations, Safety, and Business Development to manage requirements, timelines, and quality

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating construction or engineering proposals.
• Strong writing, editing, and document control skills.
• Ability to present technical construction information clearly for clients.
• Proficiency with bid portals, schedules, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate proposal pursuits across divisions from solicitation to submission.
• Review RFPs, RFQs, and specifications to identify required responses and deadlines.
• Collaborate with estimators, PMs, engineers, and ops leaders for inputs.
• Develop proposal narratives, executive summaries, and technical content.
• Maintain controlled proposal files, templates, and qualifications libraries.
• Lead kickoff meetings, track action items, and flag risks before due dates.
• Assemble and quality-check submission packages and attachments.
• Monitor procurement portals for addenda and revisions and share updates.
• Maintain opportunity records and bid outcomes in Salesforce or similar systems.
