Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Overseeing & coordinating preparation of individual proposals as assigned to ensure winning submissions
• Coordinate the preparation of proposals as assigned with external and internal partners
• Write and/or edit proposals as required
• Maintain proposal databases as assigned
• Prepare material and presenters for internal and external presentations
• Participate in client debriefings and prepare summaries to ensure continuous improvement
• Prepare marketing materials as requested

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Similar Field preferred
• Five (5) years prior professional experience in technical writing and/or proposal preparation required
• Prior experience in construction or engineering proposal preparation desirable
• Ability to co‑ordinate and manage personnel who are not direct reports through influence
• Superior technical writing skills
• Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Highly organized
• Ability to multi‑task with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Works well independently or in a team environment
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines
