Job summary

Dick Anderson Construction in Montana is seeking a motivated, organized Proposal Coordinator to join our team in-office at one of our Montana locations. The role focuses on coordinating responsive, high-quality proposals from kickoff through final delivery.

You will manage schedules, work with SMEs, edit content, format materials, and maintain a living proposal database. A detail-oriented, collaborative communicator will thrive in our fast-paced environment and contribute to winning bids.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • At least two years of proposal coordination experience in construction, architecture, or engineering.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Familiarity with construction terminology and project delivery methods.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of proposals from kickoff through final delivery, ensuring compliance with RFP/RFQ requirements.
  • Establish proposal schedules, track deliverables, and coordinate input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Maintain consistency in brand, messaging, and formatting across all proposal materials.
  • Write, edit, and proofread proposal content, resumes, project descriptions, and supporting materials.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to translate technical information into compelling storytelling.
  • Tailor messaging to meet client needs and align with company strategy.
  • Format proposals, graphics, and presentations using appropriate tools.
  • Coordinate printing, binding, and electronic submission of proposals.
  • Create and develop a proposal database and maintain the content library, staff resumes, and boilerplate text.
  • Ensure past performance data and client references are accurate and up to date.
  • Organize company-wide data and conduct quarterly audits to keep materials current.
  • Enhance internal processes for the proposal workflow.
  • Work with project teams to achieve goals and participate in kickoff meetings, reviews, and debriefs.

Dick Anderson Construction is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Full-Time Proposal Coordinator to join our team. This position is based in Montana and will work in-office at one of our Montana locations. The specific office location will be determined based on company needs and the needs of the position.

Responsibilities
Proposal Support
  • Support the development of proposals from kickoff through final delivery, ensuring compliance with RFP/RFQ requirements.
  • Establish proposal schedules, track deliverables, and coordinate input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Maintain consistency in brand, messaging, and formatting across all proposal materials.
Content Development
  • Write, edit, and proofread proposal content, resumes, project descriptions, and supporting materials.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate technical information into compelling storytelling with a keen understanding of the proposed project and client
  • Tailor messaging to meet client needs, highlight differentiators, and align with company strategy.
Design & Production
  • Format proposals, graphics, and presentations using appropriate tools
  • Coordinate printing, binding, and electronic submission of proposals.
Database & Resources
  • Create and develop a proposal database.
  • Maintain and update the proposal content library, project sheets, staff resumes, and boilerplate text.
  • Ensure past performance data and client references are accurate and up to date.
  • A successful candidate will be extremely organized and able to organize company-wide data and use expertise to enhance every proposal.
  • Utilize quality controls within every proposal and conduct quarterly audits to ensure all materials are accurate and up to date.
  • Utilize and enhance internal organizational processes for the ease and success of the proposal process.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with project team members to achieve the overall goal.
  • Participate in proposal kickoff meetings, review sessions, and debriefs.
  • Assist with preparation of interview presentations and marketing collateral when needed.

Qualifications
