Job summary

• Excellent technical and business writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong proposal development, coordination, document formatting, and content-management abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and project-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple proposals, stakeholders, and competing deadlines simultaneously.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development and submission of proposals, SOQs, RFQs/RFPs, qualifications packages, and bid documents.
• Review solicitation requirements and develop clear proposal checklists, schedules, responsibilities, and deadlines.
• Draft, edit, proofread, format, and assemble compelling proposal materials.
• Coordinate with principals, project managers, engineers, planners, and other staff to obtain content.
• Manage the proposal workflow to ensure assignments, reviews, approvals, and submissions are completed on time.
• Maintain and update staff resumes, firm qualifications, project descriptions, standard forms, and boilerplate language.
• Develop and maintain proposal standards, templates, content libraries, and processes.
• Track proposal status (upcoming, submitted, pending, awarded, unsuccessful) and opportunities.
• Identify and implement proposal automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Support business development and client relationship activities.
