Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, CA, is seeking a Pricing Lead within the ADP Pricing and Estimating Organization to develop cost, schedule, and technical elements for compliant proposals in response to customer RFPs.

You will collaborate across the business to gather inputs, analyze data, and shape pricing strategies, while mentoring junior analysts and supporting contract negotiations. A security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school.
• Experience using proposal estimating or pricing systems (APTS, ProPricer, PCTops, CPS, BOE).
• Familiarity with FAR, Part 15 proposal requirements.
• Experience coordinating complex estimates with changing requirements.
• Must be able to maintain a Security Clearance.

What You Will Be Doing

As a member of the ADP Pricing and Estimating Organization, you will serve as the pricing lead for proposal efforts, responsible for compiling cost, schedule, and techinical elements to develop compliant and competitive proposals in accordance with customer Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements. In this role, you will partner with functional organizations across the business to collect, analyze, and integrate proposal inputs while shaping buiness case analyses and pricing strategies that support organizational objectives. You will play a key role in developing and maturing cost methodoligies, supporting customer engagements, and contributing to contract negotiations. This position also offers the opportunity to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the pricing and estimating function while providing guidance and mentorship to less experienced Proposal Analysts. Develops, plans & schedules proposals in accordance with estimating policy,Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) & Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) requirements, USG Bus. System Requirements & other govt. regulations. Shapes, develops & matures bus. case analyses & cost methods resulting in a comprehensive bid/price strategy. Develops initiatives to increase profitability & cashflow. Acts as the estimating lead on proposals compiling cost, schedule, & technical elements to development proposals in accordance with Request For Proposal (RFP) specs. Coordinates the collection of cost, scheduling, & performance elements from functional departments. Performs financial modeling & analyses related to major proposals, including rate studies & analysis, bus. case development, cash flow analysis, NPV & IRR & presents analyses & recommendations to leaders. Researches & analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts & determination of accuracy of functional estimates. Participates in should-cost & pricing reviews with mngmt & customer reps. Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team & interacts with DCAA /other audit agencies. Initiates process improvements to enhance productivity & efficiency within pricing & estimating functions. May provide day-to-day direction & guidance to less senior Proposal Analysts. Develops, communicates, & implements Estimating & Pricing policies/procedures, & conducts monitoring & surveillance activities to ensure that the policies/procedures are being thoroughly & consistently implemented. Possesses comprehensive written & oral communications skills to support proposal development activities, executive proposal reviews, fact-finding & negotiations, & interaction with DCAA/other audit agencies.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above from accredited school
• Experience using proposal estimating or pricing systems such as APTS, ProPricer, PCTops, CPS, or BOE tool usage
• Familiarity or experience with FAR, Part 15 proposal requirements
• Experience coordinating complex estimates with changing requirements
• Must be able to maintain a Security Clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00
