Lockheed Martin in Palmdale, CA is seeking an experienced Proposal Pricing Analyst to lead cost, schedule, and technical elements for development proposals. You will coordinate data from various departments and perform financial modeling to support bid decisions.

Responsibilities include should-cost reviews, pricing analysis, and collaboration with audit agencies. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in pricing/estimating are required, with SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
• Three or more years of related experience in pricing/estimating.
• Familiarity with defense contracting and SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the estimating lead on proposals, compiling cost, schedule, and technical elements.
• Coordinate collection of cost, scheduling, and performance data from functional departments.
• Perform financial modeling and analyses (NPV, IRR, cash flow) for major proposals.
• Interact with DCAA/other audit agencies and participate in should-cost reviews.

Develops, plans & schedules proposals in accordance with estimating policy,Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) & Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) requirements, USG Bus. System Requirements & other govt. regulations. Shapes, develops & matures bus. case analyses & cost methods resulting in a comprehensive bid/price strategy. Develops initiatives to increase profitability & cashflow. Acts as the estimating lead on proposals compiling cost, schedule, & technical elements to development proposals in accordance with Request For Proposal (RFP) specs. Coordinates the collection of cost, scheduling, & performance elements from functional departments. Performs financial modeling & analyses related to major proposals, including rate studies & analysis, bus. case development, cash flow analysis, NPV & IRR & presents analyses & recommendations to leaders. Researches & analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts & determination of accuracy of functional estimates. Participates in should-cost & pricing reviews with mngmt & customer reps. Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team & interacts with DCAA /other audit agencies. Initiates process improvements to enhance productivity & efficiency within pricing & estimating functions. May provide day-to-day direction & guidance to less senior Proposal Analysts. Develops, communicates, & implements Estimating & Pricing policies/procedures, & conducts monitoring & surveillance activities to ensure that the policies/procedures are being thoroughly & consistently implemented. Possesses comprehensive written & oral communications skills to support proposal development activities, executive proposal reviews, fact-finding & negotiations, & interaction with DCAA/other audit agencies.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
