Job summary

The Standard is seeking a Proposal Manager to plan, organize and manage responses to proposals, RFPs and RFIs to help win new business and retain current clients. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with sales, marketing, legal, underwriting and actuary, and develop final presentation materials that are compliant, competitive and compelling based on solicitation-specified requirements.

Candidates typically have 3–5 years of experience with proposals and proficiency in SharePoint,

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of related experience (preparing proposals, RFPs and RFIs)
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, required
• Proficiency with SharePoint, Salesforce, MS Excel and Adobe highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal, RFP and RFI process in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
• Use strong leadership, organizational, issue resolution, interpersonal, and time management skills to foster collaboration between different business units.
• Respond to questions relating to our business and offered insurance products and services.
• Interact with sales staff, marketing, legal, underwriting, actuary and other Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the creation of accurate, customer-facing material.
• Develop final presentation materials and proposal deliverables that are compliant, competitive, and compelling based on solicitation-specified requirements.
