Job summary

Adastra is seeking a hands-on Prophet 21 expert to shape adoption and development of the P21 platform across the business. You will be the functional SME supporting a P21 implementation, optimizing inventory, purchasing, and order fulfillment within an industrial distribution context.

You will analyze data, develop reports, and create training materials to drive platform adoption and measurable improvements in operational performance.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Epicor Prophet 21 experience, with demonstrated ability to serve as a functional SME.
• Experience supporting a P21 implementation, rollout, or business transition.
• Background in industrial distribution, operations, supply chain, purchasing, or inventory management.
• Experience extracting, analyzing, and interpreting ERP data; advanced Excel skills.
• Business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
• Preferred: SQL, Business Analyzer, Crystal Reports, or DynaChange experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory, purchasing, customer orders, demand, and fulfillment performance; monitor shortages and changes in demand.
• Serve as the primary SME for Epicor Prophet 21; support users with functionality, reporting, and issues.
• Gather business requirements and translate into P21 improvements: configuration, testing, and enhancements.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, order issues, and root-cause operational problems.
• Develop P21 reports, dashboards, queries, and analytical tools to improve data quality and reporting reliability.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards for inventory availability, backorders, order accuracy, and on-time delivery.
• Create process documentation and training materials; deliver user training to drive P21 adoption.
