Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking an on-site Tour Guide to create meaningful moments for Owners, members, and guests. You will conduct property tours, share accurate information about resort amenities, and build lasting guest relationships while coordinating with licensed sales staff for ownership inquiries.

You must maintain a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and comply with state and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred but not required
• Proficiency in English
• Customer service, hospitality, marketing, sales and/or other customer-facing experience preferred
• Proficiency in computer skills, specifically in Microsoft programs including Outlook, Excel and Teams preferred
• Position may require background and drug screening, in accordance with state and local requirements

Responsibilities

• Building and Maintaining Customer Base and Welcome and accompany guests during property tours while providing high-quality guest service
• Provide factual, objective information about the resort and its amenities and fulfill requests from owners or prospects regarding property maps, room locations, etc
• Support the brand image by modeling professional behavior, appearance, and communication; establish rapport with guests during the tour to enhance the guest experience
• Direct ownership, pricing, product, or contractual questions to a licensed sales executive and/or team leader; provide the highest possible guest service to support satisfaction targets
• Presentation Support: provide prospective owners and Owners a Sales Gallery, Property, and Model tour; explain features, advantages, and benefits; follow the Consultative Process
• Discover vacation and travel needs of prospective owners and prepare for daily appointments; follow up with appropriate contacts; use approved technology to support the tour experience
• Conducting and Managing Business Transactions: assure complete representations and direct loan questions to licensed staff
• Providing Service to Others: respond to guest inquiries and monitor resolutions; refer prohibited questions to licensed associate
• Other Daily Tasks and Expectations: attend meetings, training, and stay informed about on-site locations and regulations
