Job summary

AREMCO is seeking a Property Preservation Claims Specialist in the United States. This role evaluates property damage, manages restoration and preservation claims, and coordinates work orders for approved repairs.

You will use photographs and documentation to develop claim submissions, manage insurance proceeds, and ensure properties are repaired efficiently and prepared for sale. Responsibilities include reviewing damage, evaluating coverage, filing claims from submission to resolution,

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in construction, property restoration, property preservation, estimating, field services, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of insurance claim filing, documentation, and follow-up processes.
• Ability to assess property damage and anticipated repair needs from photographs and written documentation.
• Ability to interpret repair estimates, scopes of work, invoices, and supporting claim materials.
• Strong organization, documentation, communication, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage multiple claims and work orders while meeting deadlines and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Review property photographs, inspection information, estimates, and related documentation to identify and assess damage.
• Evaluate potential insurance coverage and document the type, scope, and estimated cost of covered repairs.
• Prepare, file, and manage property restoration and preservation insurance claims from initial submission and EOB receipt through resolution.
• Communicate with insurance carriers, adjusters, vendors, and internal teams to obtain required documentation and move claims forward.
• Track claim status, requested information, approvals, payments, deadlines, and outstanding issues.
• Create and deploy work orders to qualified vendors and provide clear scopes of work, documentation, and completion expectations.
• Monitor repair progress, review completion evidence, and address exceptions, supplemental damage, or scope changes.
• Maintain accurate claim files, work-order records, invoices, photographs, and supporting documentation.
• Help ensure repaired properties meet applicable requirements and are ready to be marketed for sale.
