Lakeside Apartments is seeking a Property Porter to maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance of a multi-family property in Slidell, LA. You will handle daily cleaning of lobbies, hallways, elevators, and outdoor spaces, and assist with events or move-ins/out.

The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team. You will monitor and report maintenance issues, restock supplies, and support staff with varied tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in janitorial work or property maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas, lobbies, hallways, and elevators.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste per guidelines.
• Disinfect restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Monitor parking lots and walkways for hazards.
• Assist with setup for events and move-ins/move-outs.
• Report maintenance issues to management.
• Assist with landscaping and curb appeal.
• Move residents' belongings as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Provide support to property management staff.
