Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of an assigned apartment community, lead the onsite team, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and other regulations.

You will analyze financial statements, set competitive rents, approve vendor invoices, supervise staff, and strive to maximize occupancy and resident satisfaction while delivering high-quality service and maintaining property standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience that demonstrates property management, sales, marketing, and customer service to manage a community and coordinate a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with leadership and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides input into budget development by analyzing financial statements and reports.
• Sets rent rates and ensures timely collection of rents and fees.
• Approves vendor invoices and manages communication between vendors, accounting, and owners.
• Controls expenditures within the approved budget and manages petty cash.
• Oversees lease enforcement, applications, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and fees.
• Gathers and analyzes market trends to drive occupancy and revenue strategies.
• Promotes resident satisfaction and oversees maintenance teams to meet standards.
• Conducts property inspections and ensures safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
• Supervises staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Assists in managing client/owner relationships and provides updates.
