Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a leased community. You will lead the team, manage finances, enforce leases, and optimize occupancy while ensuring compliance with housing laws and company policies.

The role emphasizes budgeting, vendor coordination, marketing initiatives, and resident satisfaction, with focus on maintaining property standards and coordinating with owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum experience in property management, sales, marketing, and customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgets and analyze financial statements to guide property performance.
• Meet revenue targets by setting rents, collecting fees, and preparing financial reports.
• Approve invoices, verify insurance, and coordinate with vendors and owner.
• Control expenditures within the approved budget and manage petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement, applications, renewals, inspections, notices, and late fees.
• Analyze market trends and implement marketing and leasing strategies.
• Promote resident satisfaction by addressing issues and supervising maintenance.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure safety and appearance standards.
• Supervise staff, hire and train employees, and manage performance.
• Engage with clients/owners, provide performance updates, and respond to requests.
• Complete reports and other duties; California-specific lease processes as applicable.
