Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Irvine, CA to support the property manager with daily operations, leasing, and resident relations. The role includes rent collection, reporting, and ensuring compliant, efficient property management.

You will collaborate with maintenance, leasing, and ownership to optimize occupancy and service quality while upholding Avenue5 standards. This position offers growth, comprehensive benefits, and a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Two to three years of experience in property management is required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities is required.
• Real estate license is preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day operations, resident satisfaction, retention, and full lifecycle activities.
• Maintain accounts receivable, collect rent, post rent, deposits, and rent roll.
• Accurately and timely complete daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Audit records and lease files for dates requiring administrative action.
• Process evictions, including paperwork, notices, and court hearings.
• Lease apartments as needed and conduct property inspections for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist training staff on leasing, marketing, and general office operations.
