Job summary

Brazos Residential Management is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee rent collection and support the Property Manager in day-to-day operations of a multifamily community. You will manage delinquent accounts, post rents, and help with leases and renewals while ensuring excellent resident service.

The role requires reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year of multifamily experience.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in the multifamily Assistant Manager position.
• Bi-lingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect delinquent rent and post rent via scanners; maintain rent roll and perform deposits.
• Assist Property Manager in day-to-day operations and reporting.
• Work the 1st Saturday of each month to collect and post rents, unless exemptions apply.
• Close out accounting and complete month-end processes.
• Draft and deliver rent reminders and notices; handle lease/renewal paperwork.
• Inspect properties and coordinate maintenance; report safety issues.
• Provide leasing/marketing support and drive operational consistency.
• Rotate on-call shifts 24/7 for after-hours/emergency calls.
