Jamestown Management Corporation seeks an Operations Manager to oversee operations for large properties and portfolios. You will align engineering, maintenance, tenant services, and financial management to maximize ROI and safety.

The role combines strategic planning with hands-on site work, typically 50% office and 50% field responsibilities. Responsibilities include supervising engineering teams, coordinating with contractors, maintaining budgets, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and building

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in business or related field.
• Trade-related HVAC/electronics training is advantageous.
• Universal CFC license required.
• LEED designation preferred.
• BOMA SMA/SMT or N.A.P.E designation preferred.
• At least two years’ supervisory/leadership experience.
• Five to ten years’ experience in commercial or facility operations.

Responsabilités

• Assist property team leader with engineering personnel placement.
• Oversee distribution of team responsibilities for optimal resource use.
• Lead interviews and assess prospects for engineering staff.
• Review and improve maintenance programs, services, and procedures.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers.
• Provide hands-on maintenance oversight and safety compliance.
• Develop operating budgets and capital improvement plans.
• Conduct property inspections and manage vendor performance.
