Misfit Homes in Nashville is seeking a dependable Property Operations & Maintenance Specialist to help keep our short-term rental homes clean, functional, and guest-ready. This hands-on field role focuses on inspections, preventative care, minor repairs, and documenting work with photos.
You will inspect properties before and after stays, troubleshoot property technology such as smart locks and Wi‑Fi, coordinate with vendors, and support onboarding of new properties.

Misfit Homes is seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Property Operations & Maintenance Specialist to help ensure the homes we manage throughout Nashville are consistently clean, functional, well‑maintained, and ready for every guest arrival.
This is a hands‑on field position centered around property inspections, preventative care, minor maintenance, technology troubleshooting, and accurate documentation. You’ll inspect homes before and after guest stays, identify issues that need attention, complete routine repairs, troubleshoot property technology, and make sure concerns are documented and followed through to resolution.
You’ll also support our Operations Manager with new property onboarding, vendor coordination, and improvements to our field operations. This is an excellent fit for someone who notices the details, takes pride in doing things correctly, enjoys solving practical problems, and can be trusted to work independently while maintaining consistent standards across multiple properties.
$16–$20 per hour
$30 per completed maintenance work order
