Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations of the housing community under the Community Manager. You will manage delinquency and rent collections to optimize cash flow and handle all phases of operations including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration, and risk management while onsite.

You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines, and support budgeting and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Onsite property operations and financial functions oversight.
• Delinquency and rent collection management to optimize cash flow.
• Staff supervision, leasing, maintenance, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income for residents and applicants.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt and prepare late notices and evictions where needed.
• Help meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities.
• Complete end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
• Maintain organized records and audit resident files.
• Walk units and post move-out charges and deposits refunds.
• Lead and train onsite staff per company directives.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing.
