Job summary

Continental Properties is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Property Manager for the Springs at Port Charlotte, a residential apartment community in Port Charlotte, FL. You will support community operations, resident satisfaction, leasing activity, financial reporting, rent collection, renewals, and marketing, reporting to the Community Manager.

The role involves full-time hours with a pay range of $22.00-$26.00 per hour plus performance incentives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment leasing experience with a foundation in resident relations and property financials.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to tour the community on foot and conduct move-ins/move-outs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by maintaining tour-ready units and a clean, inviting model.
• Drive leasing success from first contact to move-in, including tours, follow-ups, and coordinated move-ins.
• Manage move-in/move-out inspections, lease renewals, evictions, and occupancy tracking with Fair Housing compliance.
• Oversee rent collection and monthly financials while building relationships to encourage renewals.
