Job summary

Arbor Management is seeking a Property Manager for the Tamerlane property. This full-time role on-site involves overseeing rent collection, leasing, staff supervision, and coordinating maintenance.

You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, budget control, and reporting to Regional Manager. Strong tenant relations, multitasking, and experience with Yardi or RentCafe are preferred.

Qualifications

• Industry knowledge in Rural Development / Family.
• Outstanding tenant relations’ skills.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Computer literacy including MS Office (Word & Excel); Yardi, Rent Cafe and/or HUD.
• Manager experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and timely completion, and to work independently.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Timely collection of rents and all monies on site, including daily deposits and record keeping.
• Hire, train and motivate staff.
• Leasing process including telephone inquiries, greeting prospective tenants, showing apartments, taking applications and deposits, verifying application information, follow-up and renewal.
• Inspection of property for safety and maintenance needs.
• Tenant issues and relations.
• Coordination of property maintenance.
• Budget control including management of vendors and contractors.
• Prepares various internal and outside agency reports.
