Job summary

Capano Residential in Maryland seeks a dedicated Property Manager (Full-time) to oversee move-in processing, tenant relations, and daily property operations. You will manage applications, ensure paperwork completeness, supervise staff, and coordinate with contractors while adhering to state laws and corporate guidelines.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (or 1–2 years related experience), 4 years in residential property management, and a valid Driver's License.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Driver's License (Required)

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all application processes, verifications, and any additional information as it relates to new move-in paperwork and applications.
• Review applications to ensure all necessary paperwork is within the application.
• Move tenants out in a timely manner and ensure security deposits are returned as governed by State Law.
• Recruiting and retention of all residents along with marketing the property through outreach efforts to businesses, organizations, etc.
• Ensure proper scheduling of site staff (leasing agents, maintenance personnel).
• Supervise the maintenance staff and office staff to ensure property is maintained efficiently.
• Prepare periodic inventory of building contents and report to owner.
• Attend fair housing seminars and comply with fair housing standards.

Education
