Job summary

Volunteers of America National Services (VOANS) is seeking a Property Manager for LifeHouse in Asheville, NC. The role oversees daily property operations, staff supervision, and resident relations while ensuring compliance with housing regulations and budget targets.

The ideal candidate has LIHTC experience, a Fair Housing Certificate, and at least 3 years of property management experience, with a focus on serving disabled residents and maintaining positive community relations.

Qualifications

• Must have LIHTC experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of property management experience.
• Fair Housing Certificate and awareness of fair housing laws.
• Experience working with disabled residents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the property/properties and supervise staff.
• Maintain resident files in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Market the property in accordance with Fair Housing Regulations.
• Prepare annual budget drafts and monitor expenditures.
• Hire, train, supervise staff and conduct performance appraisals.
• Submit required reports to management and regulatory bodies.
• Resolve tenant complaints by enforcing occupancy rules.
