Job Description Summary

Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring a high level of service. They motivate high-performing teams to maximize property performance.

Essential Job Duties:
  1. Ensure the smooth operation of our community in a fast-paced environment, overseeing maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
  2. Provide superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Complete lease/renewal paperwork to company standards.
  3. Track and evaluate advertising and all client traffic.
  4. Develop, mentor, lead, and manage a high-performing, cohesive team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, to maximize engagement and minimize turnover.
  5. Drive revenue through understanding and analyzing competition and developing creative marketing programs.
  6. Lead by example, instilling and modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company.
  7. Supervise day-to-day operations of the on-site team, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
  8. Maintain effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching.
  9. Maintain resident files according to company standards.
  10. Create a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and follow-up.
  11. Manage the overall community budget and finances.
  12. Collaborate with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals.
Competencies:
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation
  • General office, bookkeeping, sales skills, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to set goals and improve staff performance
  • Supervise daily team operations, ensuring policy compliance
  • Manage a team effectively
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Important Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Real Estate License preferred
Important Experience:
  • 3+ years of Property Management experience
  • 3+ years of Management experience
Work Environment

This role operates in a professional office environment, requiring standard office equipment use and regular travel.

Physical Demands

Employees may need to stand, walk, ascend stairs, and operate office machinery. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds is required.
