Job Description Summary

Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring high-level of service. Property Managers are also responsible for motivating high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property.

Essential Job Duties
  1. Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment. Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
  2. Providing superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction, increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. Completing lease/renewal paperwork to company standards.
  3. Tracking and evaluating advertising and all client traffic.
  4. Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing, cohesive team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, to maximize engagement and minimize turnover.
  5. Driving revenues through understanding and analysis of competition and developing creative marketing programs.
  6. Leading by example and modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company.
  7. Supervising day-to-day operations of the on-site team, ensuring policy adherence.
  8. Maintaining effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching.
  9. Maintaining residents' files according to company standards.
  10. Creating a positive living environment through prompt conflict resolution and follow-up.
  11. Managing community budget and finances.
  12. Collaborating with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals.
Competencies
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation
  • Office, bookkeeping, sales skills, and excellent communication skills
  • Goal setting and staff performance improvement

  • Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Real Estate License preferred
  • 3+ years of Property Management experience
  • 3+ years of Management experience
Work Environment & Physical Demands

This role operates in a professional office environment, requiring travel and physical activity such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
