The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a customer-focused approach. Qualifications include 2–5 years in residential property management, familiarity with Fair Housing/EEO, and proficiency with MS Office and YARDI.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in residential property management.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing and EEO laws.
• Proven leadership experience in building and leading a team.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and YARDI.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Customer service and sales skills.
• Flexible schedule including occasional travel and weekends.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of running a multi-unit residential community: budgets, services, leasing and pricing.
• Create a marketing and management program to maintain optimum occupancy, income and value.
• Hire, train, motivate, counsel and reward staff.
• Monitor financial operations of the asset and NOI improvements.
• Direct marketing activities and maintain knowledge of the local market.
• Oversee rent collections and ensure compliance with landlord/tenant statutes.
• Set high expectations for staff and hold them accountable for results.
• Tour the property and oversee maintenance and emergency measures as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Regional Director.
