Wesley Living in Memphis, TN is seeking a compassionate Property Manager to lead daily operations of our senior living community. You will oversee leasing, compliance, maintenance coordination, and resident relations to ensure a welcoming, safe environment for residents and staff.

This full-time role requires strong administrative skills, budget oversight, and the ability to multi-task under deadlines. We value service, compassion, and integrity in a dedicated leader who can uphold our standards

Qualifications

• 3 years in a supervisory position
• Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, electronic
• Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience with multi-sites or single multi-site organization

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of compliance including initial certifications and recertifications
• Manage waiting list, tours, and leasing process from application to move-in
• Collect rent and coordinate with vendors for cost-effective maintenance
• Act as primary contact for residents and their families, resolving conflicts with empathy
• Coordinate with maintenance to keep building clean, accessible, and hazard-free
• Collaborate with Service Coordinator to promote social engagement and connect residents with local resources

Property Manager – Memphis, TN

Full-time | 40 hours per week| $60,000

We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented, and dependable leader who can use their interpersonal and customer service skills to lead our senior living community. You will run the day-to-day operations of our community at St. Peter Manor while maintaining a pleasant and engaging environment for staff and residents. This role will ensure that the property adheres to company policies while also following applicable laws and regulations. Multi-tasking, timeliness, consistent enforcement of policy, and ability to quickly adapt as situations arise will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance & Administration: Oversee all aspects of compliance. This includes managing initial certifications, annual recertifications, and ensuring all resident files are audit-ready.


• Occupancy Management: Manage the waiting list, conduct tours, and oversee the leasing process from application to move-in.


• Financial Oversight: Collect rent and work with vendors to ensure cost-effective maintenance and repairs.


• Resident Relations: Act as a primary point of contact for residents and their families. You’ll resolve conflicts with empathy while maintaining firm community standards.


• Safety & Maintenance: Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure the building remains clean, accessible, and hazard-free for residents with varying mobility needs.


• Community Building: Collaborate with the Service Coordinator to encourage social engagement and connect residents with local resources (food assistance, transportation, healthcare).

Requirements

• 3 years in a supervisory position required.


• Associate's Degree or higher and certifications in field preferred.


• Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, electronic, face-to-face.


• Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.


• Exhibit or attain proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft Office products, HUD online systems, and industry specific software.


• Experience with multi-organizations or a single organization with multi-sites a plus.
