Job summary

East Charlotte Apartment Community is seeking a dedicated Community Manager to lead on-site operations, oversee leasing, and drive financial performance while ensuring resident satisfaction. You will supervise the on-site team, coordinate maintenance, and manage vendor relations to uphold MMG’s standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, compliance, and delivering excellent resident service in a dynamic multi-family setting requiring strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of property management, preferably multi-family housing.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency with property management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations ensuring compliance with MMG policies and applicable laws.
• Manage leasing and occupancy to maintain high occupancy rates and optimize rents.
• Assist in budgeting, rent collection, and financial reporting to meet goals.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor relationships for timely and quality work.
• Provide leadership, training, and performance reviews for on-site teams.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain residents.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and risk management policies.
• Prepare regular reports on occupancy, financial performance, and maintenance.
